Bryan Byrt Ford asked High Performance Films Commercial Brisbane to create a special design to commemorate Ford's 75th anniversary in Australia. The design was to be completed on a large glass wall between a new car showroom and the sales offices. Privacy between the two areas was essential.

A local artist and car enthusiast designed a mural taken from drawings of different eras. The challenge was to take this concept and convert it to film that could be computer cut and broken up into sixteen individual panels. A frosted decorative film was chosen because it provided privacy but remained subtle.

The whole process took 6-8 weeks from concept through completion. The outcome was the result of good teamwork and communication. The mural served as a backdrop to the grand opening of the showroom and was recognized and complimented by all including the chairman of Ford Australia, Mr. Geoff Polities. The mural will remain as a showpiece for all for many years to come.
